Building a Spiritual Home in a Digital Age
Twenty Years of New Thought, One Ongoing Journey of Community and Transformation
It’s been well over twenty years since I first encountered New Thought teachings. I didn’t know then how deeply they would shape my life. I was drawn in by the promise that our thoughts, beliefs, and consciousness create our experience. Over the years, that simple idea grew into a living practice. I’ve walked with it through the highs and the lows, and I’ve seen firsthand what happens when people embrace it fully.
In that time, I’ve been fortunate to meet so many remarkable souls—people whose lives have been touched and transformed by this philosophy. I’ve watched people break cycles, heal old wounds, step into their purpose, and rebuild their lives with clarity and intention. I’ve witnessed transformation that defies logic but makes perfect sense when you understand the spiritual laws at play. And in those countless encounters, I’ve been reminded again and again: this work matters. This path changes lives.
For me, one of the most personal transformations has been the quiet but powerful journey toward accepting myself as a writer. That may sound simple, but it hasn’t always been easy. Like many of us, I carried old stories about what I was allowed to be. But over time, through my spiritual practice, I began to listen more closely to that inner voice—the one that nudged me to share, to speak, to write. Eventually, I stopped resisting it. Writing became not just a form of expression, but a form of ministry.
That’s what brought me here, to this unfolding Substack project. Just over six months ago, I started writing and publishing essays regularly. I wasn’t sure where it would go, but I knew I needed to begin. And what I’ve found is that this space has become more than just a blog or a newsletter. It’s become a kind of gathering place. A part of the expanding digital sanctuary we are building together. A circle where we can reflect, explore, and grow together in our understanding of New Thought principles.
We are still small, but there is power in small beginnings. Every message I receive from a reader, every conversation sparked by a post, reminds me why this matters. It’s not about building a brand or chasing clicks. It’s about building spiritual community. It’s about contributing to the expansion of the New Thought movement in a time when the world deeply needs this wisdom. We are living through an era of immense transition. People are searching for meaning, for guidance, for practices that help them stay centered and empowered amidst the chaos. New Thought offers that.
That’s why I’m choosing to deepen my commitment to this work. I want to be able to dedicate more time, more care, more focus to this writing ministry. And while the spiritual path always begins in consciousness, practical support makes a real difference. For those who feel called to support this journey in a tangible way, paid subscriptions are one of the most direct ways to do that. It allows me to prioritize this work, to show up more consistently, and to offer more content rooted in deep spiritual inquiry.
Right now, I’m committed to sharing a new paid subscriber-only piece every month. It’s a way of saying thank you, of offering something extra to those who are supporting the vision. And as this circle grows, so too will the rhythm and richness of what I can offer. I envision a future where this space becomes a hub for spiritual reflection, creative teaching, and collective inspiration—a steady, nourishing presence for those walking this path. When we reach a critical mass of support, the cadence will naturally expand. More posts. More resources. More voices.
Because this is not just about one voice. One of the things I’m most excited about is the potential to collaborate with other writers and teachers within the New Thought movement. The New Thought Media Network’s Substack is growing into a shared platform—a place where multiple perspectives can be shared, where we can cross-pollinate ideas and amplify each other’s work. If you’re a writer rooted in spiritual principle, and you feel called to contribute to a larger movement, this might be the right place to share your voice. We’re just beginning to explore what this could look like, and I’m open to seeing what collaborations might emerge organically.
At the heart of all of this is the vision of community. Not community in the shallow sense of likes and follows, but real spiritual kinship. A network of people committed to living from principle, to seeing the divine in themselves and in each other, to practicing what we teach. This is ministry. This is media. This is movement.
If you’ve been following along, if something here has spoken to you, I invite you to stay with me on this journey. Let’s build something meaningful together. Let’s keep writing, reading, reflecting, and reminding each other what is possible when we align with Truth.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for walking this path with me. Let’s keep going.
